Feeling a little inadequate

Its blowing a gale outside.  A little bit chilly so I'm holed up in the old Studio, on the computer cruising around blogland.  Gosh there's some talent out there.  Makes me feel a little inadequate.  I decided to pull out some old canvases that I never finished. Those of you who know me well, know I've had these hanging around for ages.  But I've got to admit I still like them!  So here goes.....Here's where I'm up to.  Lets see what can be achieved!  Anything is POSSIBLE!  CREATE! LET YOURSELF GO!  Blah Blah Blah!

Cooking = Creating

I'm still continuing on with my little business, Gourmet@Home.  A personal chef service where I come and cook a delicious dinner party for you and your friends in the comfort of your own home.  I think this is a just another channel for my creative juices.  I love food with a passion and seeing people enjoying good food cooked with love (sounds Corny I know) in their own happy environment is just a lovely thing to do.  So while my little business isn't exactly a multi-million dollar conglomerate I am happy doing what I'm doing.

Allow me to show you some of the food I have just recently done for a Girls night in for a 50th birthday.  Tapas was the order of the day:

 Vodka marinated Kingfish Ceviche

 Arancini Balls on a bed of chargrilled capsicum with Garlic Aioli and Crispy Jamon

 Andalusion Style Pork and Garlic Aioli

 Grilled Scallops on Smoky Chorizo

Just sharing a couple of little gift cards with you.  Not doing too much except cooking dinner parties.  I'm being lazy and not posting any instructions with these cards but I'm positive you can work it out, but if you ever want to know how to achieve anything here don't hesitate to ask.  I'd love to chat with you.

I'm back!

As you all know, yes its true, I was a bear in my previous life!  No really.  I hibernate in winter.  I think George was a bear too.  He loves sleeping.  Yesterday I finally got him to have a bath.  Smelly dog.  Do you think he was impressed?

Are you still talking to me.  I've been neglectful.  I look at all you lovely blog people and see all the lovely things that you do, oh what a inspiration you all are!  I hope you haven't given up on me.  I do have a couple of excuses though. Apart from a husband being in hospital for four and a half weeks with a perforated gall bladder, a daughter going to London to work for two years and of course the gorgeous George!  Its no secret that I'm a hibernater in winter, I hate the cold.

 A big shout out for Jenny and Jen for their amazing market stall, I am soooo in awe of those girls.  Not only the fact that they were able to show case such classy work but to be so dedicated to brave the cold like that. Amazing!!
