Its great to be alive

Its soooo easy getting a shadow shot whilst the weather is lovely.  Down on the water, not far from us was the perfect venue to gather a few photos.  Also it was a good excuse for us to have a coffee and a little sweet.

Just had a few busy days with my little nieces, Abbie and Emma. It was lovely to have some time with them as they have just returned from living in Dubai. Looking back over the photos, I didn't realize we did so much! Fortunately for me they lurrrrvve to do all the things that Aunty Rossy lurrrvvves to do. We finished off the visit with a trip to Newtown to see cousin Jess and partner Lachlan and do lunch. Check the size of these burgers! We went to MOO. Needless to say, we won't be eating dinner.

My baby's gone to London.

Well he's off. Lock up ya daughters! See the world, no money! It's either sink or swim baby! Gawd I hope he's alright. Its such a hard thing knowing when to step in and help your child out. VJ went to London with, dare I say it out loud, not much money! but he has already found a job labouring but of course no money to buy hard hat and boots. I only know this because he messaged his sister. Haven't heard anything since so I think he is working it out. Either that or he's living on the street. He's pretty resourceful though and proud and hasn't asked us for any money as yet. Gawd I hope he's alright!

My Man/boy?? (not any more) has come home

I've got to admit, I was a little emotional today. My son VJ came home after being away for 13 months in Central Queensland. I was thinking it would be good to get a candid shot of him coming out of the door from the plane but of course I started crying so I just clicked this photo and ran into his arms! This time is short lived as in ten days he will be off to London. How the hell am I going to cope with that!!
