Shadow Shot Sunday Happy Mothers' Day
To all my friends, Happy Mothers Day! I had a quiet but happy mothers day today. My beautiful daughter and her partner came and spent the night and we had a lovely dinner together. Unfortunately my son was unable to come. Breakfast the next morning was cooked by me (of course) eggs benedict, bacon and corn fritters were on the menu, then it was off to the cemetery to see my darling Mum who has missed 12 Mothers'Days now. It doesn't get any easier but it was such a lovely day at the cemetery that people were picnicking on the grounds. Such a beautiful place. Then it was off to some plant nurseries and a quest to find coffee. Unsuccessful. So being Mother's Day it was my pick for the DVD. I picked a soppy love story. Lovely!
My Shadow Shot Sunday was taken at the nursery.

Happy Mothers Day Ros.... ive tried to email you three times but it bounces back :(
how nice that you lovely cemetarys for people to picnic on....the ones here are horrible...
Your breakfast sounds delicious. Soppy love stories are the best. :)
Sometimes soppy love stories are just what we need!
I HAD A LITTLE SHADOW
(With apologies to Robert Louis Stevenson)
I had a little shadow
No bigger than my thumb;
I took him to the meadow
And there I gave him rum.
My drunken little shadow
Did weave and bob and pitch;
He stumbled from the meadow
And fell into a ditch!
