I nearly nearly missed SSS today. I remembered just in time. This carved wooden bowl is one I "inherited" from my Mum and Dad. The reason I gained it is because I was actually there when it was purchased in New Guinea way back in the '70s. This fruit however, has a not so long life span. There is something mysterious and alluring about this photograph. It reminds me of some of the paintings by the Dutch masters in the Reijksmuseum in Amsterdam.

I love this photo. I agree with Magical Mystical Teacher, it is alluring and mysterious. The carved bowl looks wonderful, and I would like to see a more detailed photo of it sometime.
