HELLO......?

Are you still talking to me.  I've been neglectful.  I look at all you lovely blog people and see all the lovely things that you do, oh what a inspiration you all are!  I hope you haven't given up on me.  I do have a couple of excuses though. Apart from a husband being in hospital for four and a half weeks with a perforated gall bladder, a daughter going to London to work for two years and of course the gorgeous George!  Its no secret that I'm a hibernater in winter, I hate the cold.

 A big shout out for Jenny and Jen for their amazing market stall, I am soooo in awe of those girls.  Not only the fact that they were able to show case such classy work but to be so dedicated to brave the cold like that. Amazing!!

Thanks everyone for your concern.  As it turns out, I thought I had downloaded Google Chrome, but I didn't! So....I downloaded it again and Voila! Gawd I hope it doesn't have repercussions.  I still am a little miffed that blogger decided to change everything without giving us the choice. It's still not alright

You maybe wondering how I am posting this post.  Or maybe you don't.  It seems I can post on my old dinosaur of a computer and not on the laptop.  So at least I can post.  After some very harsh words to blogger I am still waiting for a solution.  It appears that quite a few people are having the same problem so I don't feel so bad.  Anyhow this is what I received during the week from the lovely Jen. A gorgeous little booklet of backgrounds.  Thank you Jen for putting this together.  Look out world!

Grrrrr I DON'T like this new blogger layout! Talking about a time waster. Normally Idon't mind playing around on the computer but I must admit this new blogger stuff is making me CRANKY! Is anyone else having the same problems as me? When I go to write a new post, the (writing box) is covering the toolbar. I can only just get the smallest glimpse of it and cannot move it up or the box down. SCREAM! HELP!!!!

We've adopted!

Hi everyone

Yes we have, we've adopted!  Fourteen months after we lost our darling Narla we now have a new purpose to get up in the morning.  Meet George.  Not his RSPCA name but a new name that I think suits him better.  I picked it because its been splashed about that he is an English Setter, mmmmm, anyhoo english, King George, Boy George, George Clooney (american admittedly).  Kev reckons it after George of the jungle cos he's such a klutz.  In the 24 hours since George has resided with us this is what I have found out:  He likes to chew thongs, the corner and tassles off all the pillows, would rather sleep on the outside lounge instead of the expensive bed we purchased, loves to chase birds, HATES the lawn mower, always wants to sit on your lap, is NOT house trained, loves the beach and going for a walk and just generally wants to please.  I think after a little love and direction he'll be a fantastic dog!
