Very satisfying

My friends Merridy and Des have an awesome veggie garden. Yesterday she dropped over some gorgeous tomatoes. Well I must admit gorgeous looking they may not be, but tasty.....yeah! I took Merridy's advice though and turned them from this

to this
and finally to this....YUM!

You have to admit there's just something fully satisfying about making your own pasta sauce to serve with freshly made pasta. Don't you agree??

Just a couple more

Do you like?? I'm on a little bit of a roll at the moment with these journals, hope you're not getting bored. I've just come across this lovely blog which I know you all would enjoy. I spend an unhealthy amount of time blog surfing and I love all the inspiration that flows out. I was on the computer reading up on the latest from Tamar (when I should've been getting ready for work) and came across this lovely blog that I think you should check out. Notebookdoodles is a lovely place to get some quirky sayings and the person that writes them has a lovely way of telling it how it is. Hope you make the time to check it out.

Just enjoying my art

Haven't been doing much lately except for these journals but, gee I have been enjoying the process of making them. I think the fact that they are selling as fast as I can make them helps the process too. I love how they are all different and unique. Oh by the way, if you would like any info how they were done, you only have to ask. I'd be happy to help. I have done three this weekend but so far I have only taken photos of one so as soon as I get my act together I'll post a photo of the others.

Predictable...me???

I hope you won't get too fed up with seeing cards again. You see they're the only thing my tiny mind can comprehend at the moment. Firstly we have been preparing ourselves (mentally and environmently) for the return of the prodgical son. Now he has landed back from England in one piece, hubby and I will have to learn to share once again. I have to say though, I haven't seen much of him, ho hum early days yet I suppose. So..... just so you do have a little something to look at when you drop by I'll share a couple of photo's of some gift cards I made for the shop. I haven't been completely idle. I had a nice time over at Erina Scrapbooking Store the other night with Sarah and some friends getting an edjewcashun into ATC's. I think I might like these and as time will be a little tight for me this year I will still be able to find time to whip up a few of these darling little numbers to satisfy my obsession.

First day of 2010 (tenners)

I suppose if you really went into it, this photo was actually taken on the 2nd day of the tenners, but really, who cares. Its still a beautiful part of the world and I love it. Seeing all the tourists enjoying a place that I can enjoy all year round. How lucky am I!!!!

Happy New Year!!!!! 2010

New year saw us at the waterfront at Gosford to watch the Mariners play (read LOSE) and then over to watch the fireworks at 9 o'clock. Then home to crack a bottle and arrange the cheese platter and watch the fireworks on the TV at 12 o'clock. Very civilized. Weren't the fireworks fantastic! Every year I promise myself I'll do that! Go into the city and watch them for real. Oh well there's always next year! Meanwhile hubby and I were quite happy to relax at home with our furry one and reflect on what the new year will bring. A few changes for us this year, but more about that later.

What I did over Christmas

Yep that's right, all I did was eat, eat, eat, and drink, drink, and drink. Loved it all! Just have to diet for the next 11 months ready for next year.
